Kedarnath and Cameraman

Is Media the self appointed moral police? A police who patrols entire India (or atleast where OB vans can  reach?). Recent disaster in Kedarnath is no exception. For few days they were not interested. Afterwards, there was a sudden rush. For some exclusive footage media personnel traveled along with their camera person in rescue helicopters. But are they not denying a seat/space for a needy pilgrim in the helicopter? Or is that fine? Exclusive footage is more valuable than a pilgrim?

But what about their moral preaching? Is there any different standards for media and for others?
We can understand if there are different standards for Congress's first family and rest of India. But in case of media its bit hard to understand. Media is the judge, proof provider, prosecutor and above all in their own terms they are unbiased.
